Q: Is there an ending where the father marries his daughter?
A: We’re sorry, but there is no ending in which the father marries his daughter. The story and endings of Magical Princess focus exclusively on the bond between parent and child, highlighting family relationships and personal growth without including romantic or marital aspects between parent and child.
We understand why some players have asked about this—not necessarily from a romantic perspective, but because of a deep feeling of attachment, such as “it’s hard to let go after carefully raising my daughter,” or “no one else can love her as deeply as I do.” We hope players will find fulfillment in experiencing the powerful family bond and parental love that the game offers.
Q: Can I play as a mother instead of a father?
A: Unfortunately, playing as a mother isn’t possible. The father and mother characters each have distinctly important roles in the game's narrative, so simply swapping their positions would disrupt the story and weaken character development.
During development, we explored allowing players to choose to play as a mother. However, we found it difficult to preserve depth, narrative coherence, and emotional impact if these roles were interchangeable. We appreciate your understanding regarding this creative decision.
Q: Does the game include romance between female characters (yuri)?
A: Yes, the game does feature yuri content, including storylines and endings. However, rather than emphasizing physical intimacy, we are focusing on depicting delicate, emotional relationships characterized by heartfelt affection, subtle gestures, and gentle connections.
There are multiple romanceable characters to meet, both male and female. Some characters might become friends immediately, while others might start off on the wrong foot. Each potential love interest comes with their own unique struggles and background. We hope players enjoy uncovering each character’s story as these relationships gradually deepen.
Q: There’s a rumor the daughter hits her father — is that true?
A: No, there's no scenario planned where the daughter physically harms her father. This misunderstanding arose from an illustration we posted on the Japanese version of X (Twitter). The artwork actually depicts the daughter about to hit a classmate, not her father. Her actions stem from specific circumstances in the story, which we'd love for you to discover as you play the game.
