Dear baller,
Today, we’re thrilled to share a special milestone with you: Our pre-registration campaign officially surpassed 1 million hype points yesterday!
To be honest, we haven’t fully explained this "hype value" before (because we were a little nervous~).
It’s not just about pre-registration numbers—it represents every bit of your effort behind the scenes. Every account created, every login, every match you’ve played on the court, even clicking "Create player" in game… each action added +1 to the hype.
When we first set this goal, our team thought it was almost "impossible." We joked, "Let’s treat it as a dream—what if it comes true?"
And now, it has come true. In such a short time.
From the moment pre-registration opened, we’ve seen countless players sign up, share the news, invite friends, rally in Discord groups, and even stream 6-8 hours daily on YouTube and Twitch.
When that number finally flashed on our screens, some of us genuinely got teary-eyed. We’re a small team, but we’ve poured our hearts into making this game the best it can be.
And your support has shown us: Every bit of effort is seen. It’s all worth it.
Thank you for helping us achieve a goal we once doubted was possible.

We’re not a big studio—no massive budget, no polished marketing. Just a group of basketball lovers trying to create a game for basketball lovers.
We know FreeDunk isn’t perfect yet. Some mechanics need tuning, some visuals need refining. But every pixel, every line of code was built with passion.
Your 1 million hype are more than just numbers—they’re your encouragement, pushing us to make this game something you can truly be proud of.
The Final Buzzer Hasn’t Sounded – Stay on the Court with Us. We’re still on this journey. We won’t quit—and we hope you won’t either.
Together, let’s shape FreeDunk into the ultimate basketball experience—a place where players from all over the world want to be.
Our goal? To be the world champion.
