To all ballers, hello!
The first beta test has been live for 24 hours! During this time, we’ve been filled with gratitude and excitement, and we sincerely appreciate your support and participation.
This test was not only a technical validation for us but also the starting point of building this game together with our players.
Your feedback has reinforced our belief that Free Dunk is more than just a game—it’s a world that belongs to every basketball lover.
Every suggestion has been carefully documented and compiled into a Todo List, which will guide our future updates.
Phase 1 Todo List
Seeing your interactions in the Discord channel and in-game world chat has filled us with excitement and appreciation.
Every piece of feedback, every issue reported, is invaluable to us.
Below is an update on the major issues we’ve identified and their current resolution status. We will continue to track, optimize, and implement fixes in upcoming versions：
Core Gameplay Issues
Arcade Mode Completion Failure
Some players reported not receiving rewards after completing Arcade Mode matches. This issue has been identified, and we are working on a fix as quickly as possible. Special thanks to "白靈子" for providing detailed clues.
Arcade Mode Reward Anomalies
The issue with incorrect point rewards in Arcade Mode has been investigated and will be fixed soon.
Settings Button Unresponsive / Resolution Blur or Adjustment Failure
Some players encountered issues when clicking the settings button or adjusting resolution, leading to blurry visuals or display errors. This has been marked as high priority and will be addressed in a future update.
Skill Interface Crash
The crash occurring when clicking "Confirm" in the skill description screen has been logged. After investigation, we found it was caused by unstable network connections. We are currently retesting server stability and optimizing performance.
Language Settings & Tutorial Issues
Some players reported incorrect language detection and being unable to switch languages before completing certain tutorials. We are refining the detection logic and improving the language-switching process for future updates.
Display & Text Issues
UI Overlapping / Display Abnormalities
The following interface display issues are being addressed and will be optimized soon:
- Overlapping icons and text in the skin interface
- Multi-line text overlap in the Trick Moves interface during full-screen mode
- Font stacking in the "F Key" prompt after scoring
- Misaligned pop-ups after resolution changes
Skill Description Errors
Some skill descriptions were reported as incorrect (e.g., QiQi’s in-game block skill description). We are conducting a full review to ensure all skill descriptions match their actual effects.
Offline Friend Status Display Error
Some players’ offline friends were incorrectly displayed. This has been confirmed as a refresh mechanism issue and will be fixed soon.
Network & Regional Connection Issues
North America
We’ve received feedback from players in North America about latency issues. Since this is our first technical test, we initially set up servers in Asia, where we have more experience. However, we are now preparing North American servers and plan to provide a more stable experience for NA players in the next test. We look forward to meeting you again in better shape!
A heartfelt thank you to all the players who helped us identify these issues and provided valuable feedback. We bow in gratitude.
