FREE DUNK will officially launch its first playtest on April 18, 2025, 03:00 (PDT, UTC-7)! This early access version will feature players, courts, gameplay modes, and a progression system, marking FREE DUNK's first encounter with players worldwide (slightly excited and nervous)!

Two Core Modes Fully Unlocked
In FREE DUNK's Arcade Mode (PVE Mode), you’ll start as a rookie streetballer and develop your own unique player. Through training and matches, you’ll gain experience, unlock skills, tap into potential, and recruit teammates—eventually climbing to higher-tier competitions. Each match brings tougher opponents and more realistic challenges. This mode not only lets you experience the journey from "unknown underdog" to "legendary baller" but also delivers deep immersion and satisfaction through career-driven progression and dynamic difficulty adjustments.
Meanwhile, the PVP Competitive Mode is the stage for hardcore players! This playtest will feature three foundational PVP modes:
Custom Match: Set your own rules—choose the court, match duration, and gameplay style for a fully personalized experience.
Captain Mode: Designed for solo players—team up with AI-controlled teammates and command the court alone.
Quick Match: Jump into instant matchmaking for fast-paced, thrilling showdowns!
22 Unique Players with Distinct Styles
The first playtest will introduce 22 standout players, ranging from powerhouse centers to flashy point guards. Their signature moves are inspired by real-life basketball stars, including "Sky Hook," "Euro Step," "Fadeaway Jumper," and more—every action will resonate with basketball fans. Additionally, we’ve incorporated realistic physics to ensure every crossover, block, and dunk feels authentic and intense.

5 Themed Streetball Courts
This playtest will feature five vibrant courts, including Beachside Court, Streetball Park, Underpass, Sunset Court, and more. Among them, "Beachside Court" draws inspiration from Venice Beach in Los Angeles, capturing that free-spirited, high-energy streetball vibe!

How to Get a Playtest Access Code?
Head to the official website free-dunk.com, click the "Pre-Register" button, and sign up for the playtest! The pre-registration campaign is live—if sign-ups hit 1 million, all playtest participants will unlock the exclusive open-beta player "Wukong" for free!
