Dear Detectives,
We are delighted to announce that Detective Sherlock: Shadow Stalker will officially launch in Steam Early Access at 8:00 AM PDT on August 21!
A 20% launch discount will be available for 14 days.
Thank you to everyone who has played the demo, added the game to their wishlist, submitted feedback, or shared the game with others. After continued development and testing, we are finally ready to invite you back into the mists of Dartmoor to investigate the secrets hidden within the town—and deep within the human heart.
【What Is Included in the Game?】
The Early Access version offers more than 20 hours of gameplay, complete voice acting and subtitles, seven locations, and ten cutscenes. Its gameplay includes map exploration, item collection, free-form conversations, breaking through psychological defences, uncovering and analysing clues, deduction, and mechanism-based puzzles.
There are no fixed dialogue choices. You can freely ask characters any question, test their lies, press them on contradictions, and even put human nature itself to the test—all while advancing the investigation in your own way.
The questions you ask, the relationships you build, and the ways you uncover clues may differ completely from one player to another. A thousand players may experience a thousand different interrogations.
【Supported Languages】
The Early Access version supports 14 languages: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Italian, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America), Russian, Portuguese (Portugal), Portuguese (Brazil), and Ukrainian.
【About Early Access】
The Early Access launch does not mark the end of development. It marks the beginning of the game’s next stage.
Throughout Early Access, we will continue developing future content based on player feedback. We will also focus on improving stability, performance, save systems, localisation, controls, free-form conversations, and deduction systems. Important fixes and updates will be shared through Steam announcements.
【How to Report Bugs or Submit Feedback】
If you encounter a bug, become stuck, cannot speak to a character, experience a save issue, or encounter any other problem, please post in the Steam Discussions:
https://steamcommunity.com/app/3561740/discussions/
To help us identify the issue more quickly, please include as much of the following information as possible:
• Your current game version, shown in the top-left corner of the login screen
• The relevant quest, location, and characters
• The exact steps taken before the issue occurred
• Screenshots or video, if available
We will continue monitoring the discussions and respond as quickly as possible. Serious issues affecting quest progression, save data, or normal gameplay will be prioritised and addressed through updates as soon as possible.
【One More Thing】
As this is a mystery game, please use Steam’s spoiler tags whenever discussing the story or cases, or include “Spoiler” in your post title. This will allow other players to enjoy discovering the truth for themselves.
Finally, thank you once again for all your support. After playing, we would greatly appreciate a Steam review. You are also welcome to share your unique investigation through livestreams, videos, or screenshots—your support means a great deal to us.
See you in Dartmoor at 8:00 AM on August 21!
