Greetings! Today I'm going to give a little information about what happens in between stages. After completing a mission or destroying an entire stage a portal will open up that allows the heroes to return to the Hall of Heroes.
The first thing a hero should do on returning is deposit the fragments they collected so they can't be lost.
Heroes can use these fragments for many things.
Fragments might be spent to open portals leading to new stages!
Patrol missions will assign you a random objective to complete on any stage you currently have unlocked. These are optional but will lead to increased rewards if completed.
Maybe the hero wants to have their cosmic powers match them a little better. The cosmic color randomizer will help you get the colors you want, for fragments of course!
Maybe you want a little boost to your power on the next stage. Temporary enhancements allow a hero to start the next stage with increased power. Very useful when increasing tiers on a stage!
Finally the hero can beef up the next stage they do, increasing rewards while also increasing difficulty. The current max tier is 50 which will add up to 5 random modifiers and x6 fragment drops!
