Hello, tiny farmers! 🌱
We’re so happy to see you here. The amount of love and interest Fourleaf Fields has already received honestly means a lot to us, more than we ever expected! Thank you for being here with us so early.
While we’re getting the playtest build ready for you (and yes, it’s coming very soon!), we wanted to introduce ourselves properly.
Who we are
Fourleaf Fields is being developed by BEHEMUTT, a passionate indie studio from Brazil.
The team released its first game, Mana Spark, a roguelite with paced combat, in 2018. Later, the studio grew from two to three developers to create Nova Lands, an automation and incremental base-building game, in 2023. Since then, the team has expanded to eight developers to work on its biggest project so far, Fourleaf Fields.
Why Fourleaf Fields?
We’ve always been mesmerized by tiny worlds, from the classic book Gnomes, to movies like The Secret World of Arrietty, and games like The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, Tinykin, and Grounded.
At the same time, we’ve always been fans of the farming RPG genre, ever since playing Harvest Moon on the SNES for the first time. So you can imagine where our imagination went when we first thought about mixing these two ideas!
We couldn’t stop thinking about the possibilities and how different our lives would be if we lived in a tiny world like that. Fourleaf Fields is our way of creating something small in scale, but big in charm, warmth, and little surprises.
About the playtest
We’ll be sharing more details very soon, but the playtest will happen in two waves:
Wave 1: a smaller playtest for our Discord community
Wave 2: a larger playtest for Steam players
So if you want a chance to jump in earlier and chat with us more directly, feel free to join our Discord and keep an eye on the announcements there!
And if you’d like to follow our journey beyond Steam, you can also find us on Instagram, Twitter/X, or in Bluesky - we've just landed there too! 🍀
Thanks again for being here, tiny farmers. More news soon!
