Over the past week, we’ve shared several patch notes in our Discord server. However, we understand that not everyone is active there and have heard the community’s feedback. Moving forward, all patch notes will be posted both on Discord and on Steam to ensure everyone stays informed. Thank you for your continued support!
- The crafting bench has been improved in functionality. Previously, it would return a random base type regardless of what you were disenchanting. Now, the items you input have an affect on the outcome. Inputting a majority of weapons will return a weapon, with similar functionality for armor or "accessories". We intend to improve this system further in the future where two swords yields a sword, two bracers yields a bracer, and so on.
- Updated Slam description to "After a successful block, retaliate with a stunning blow."
- Updated Luminael's Vengeance description to "From the side, attack the target for elevated damage. Follow up with Luminael's Blessing.".
- Updated Luminael's Blessing description to "After Luminael's Vengeance, provide a heal to you and allies."
- Fixed a bug where Luminael's Vengeance was providing a bonus to Evasion.
- Fixed a bug where Melee Styles were gaining their damage bonus values even on failed styles
- Added new One Hand Crush options to the drop pool, to help with Paladin itemization.
- Added new One Hand Axe options to the drop pool, to help with Paladin itemization.
- Fixed a bug where Longswords were incredibly rare drops.
- Adjusted Party Difficulty Modifier for 3 and 4 player parties (Mobs will have less HP than they did before the patch)
- Fixed some named mobs loot tables.
- Fixed a bug where Luminael's Blessing wasn't healing properly.
- Fixed a bug where Mudmen could be stunned while charging and their AI would break (This doesn't affect Iceblock).
- Fixed a few areas players could get stuck.
- Fixed a few Out-of-bounds issues.
- Fixed an issue with "LightTank" mobs offhand damage sometimes dealing 0 damage.
- Fixed an issue with Chains of Eltair sometimes dealing 0 damage.
- Fixed an issue with Ice Sphere where non-host elementalists could crash the game by targetting a player with it.
- Fixed an issue where Shields were not dropping.
- Fixed a bug where Festulence's Crypt could not be accessed in rare cases.
- Fixed a bug where The Moldmaster was not dropping items.
- When creating a new character, the "Help Window" (renamed the Survival Guide) will be shown to the player. Some of the text has been rewritten to be more clear, and hopefully it will help new players understand the games mechanics more quickly.
- Fixed various misplaced objects.
- Fixed a memory issue; the game should be much more performant now with long sessions
- Added a new Melee Style to the Reaver called Gore Harvest, which is described as: "Swing your weapon to hit all enemies around you. Each enemy hit heals you for an amount."
- Added 50 new named items to be found
- Fixed a few mobs loot tables
- Made some named mobs a bit more difficult numerically
- Many named spellcasters now have a wider pool of spells available to them and will find new ways to defend their loot
- Fixed a crash with Corpseweaver Ghraaz
- Fixed an issue where Navmesh wasn't generating in a few specific areas
- The physical damage defense formula has changed. Previously, Absorption did not provide the value displayed due to a diminishing returns curve. The curve was too aggressive, and as such it was not as powerful as intended. Now, Absorption provides the displayed % reduction up to 30%, at which point diminishing returns are applied. Additionally, Negation was far too powerful of a stat, outweighing other options. Negation now has sharper diminishing returns after the first few points.
- Robes can only be equipped by cloth casters (Elementalists) now. Desirable mods commonly found on robes have been moved to other item slots. This relieves a lot of pressure on the torso slot and makes other slots have more competitive options.
- Armortypes have had their base defensive stats adjusted based on feedback / analysis of how people are playing. Leather armor now provides Evasion and Negation, Chainmail provides Evasion, Negation, and Absorption, and Plate provides Negation and Absorption. Do note that this does not apply to previously obtained gear and will only apply to gear generated after the patch. (The goal for defenses in the game is not that any one defensive layer is overpowered, and that the combination of layers, together, makes for a very powerful character. Being able to Parry, Evade, or Block an attack before it ever comes in, and then reduce damage that actually comes in in a multitude of ways, and then recover from that incoming damage in interesting ways, makes for more meaningful gearing decisions.)
- Daggers have had their base damage values increased slightly, and we intend to add more dense itemization options for the rogues weapon slots going forward.
- Fixed a few issues with mob patrol routes that were leading to insane trains in some zones.
- Fixed an issue where Sigil of Bulwarking was not being consumed properly
- Fixed a bug where Gore Harvest was not breaking CC with its AoE cleave effect
- Fixed a bug where rings/bracers could be put into your mainhand weapon slot
- Fixed a crash with Gore Harvest.
- Fixed a crash with very high level players crashing due to incorrect item generation.
