Routine update for all our shareholders on what Animal Bakery has been up to this month:
I am currently working on the story for Chapter 3, which will include two main story quests. One of them will also introduce the last big feature—festival events.
I’m really pleased with how the story is shaping up. I’m also thinking about how to add some action sequences toward the end of the chapter. If any players are skilled in animation, feel free to reach out!
Once unlocked, you’ll be able to choose and host different types of bakery festivals!
Anyone worried that the simulation management genre gets repetitive late-game with no new content?
Plans for next month:
If Chapter 3 is finished, we’ll move straight to Chapter 4! Aiming to complete one chapter per month.
Chapter 4 will feature more mafia-related quests. I haven’t fully started outlining it yet, but players with criminal experience (just kidding… unless?) are welcome to share creative ideas—like how the mafia launders money, what kinds of deals they make, and so on.
On a side note—I have a cat now!
But she’s definitely been a major obstacle to game development. I keep getting distracted by her while working. Sorry about that. But honestly, who can resist petting her?
