Dear ladies and lords of the Ravensburg court,
Our second demo update of the year is here, and it's bigger, bolder, and slightly unhinged! Here's an overview of all the new features:
ALL new background art
An unhinged protagonist
More drama
More choices
More endings
NOTE: Due to script changes, your old saves will NOT work. But it'll be worth it for all the extra content!
Art
The backgrounds have been completely redrawn with more depth and more vibrant colours, bringing the world to life. Our protagonist has also undergone a stunning visual overhaul, sporting a more sophisticated look with intricate new details.
Animation
New animation code makes our characters come to life like never before, with a whole host of new expressions and fluid movements that make every scene feel genuinely cinematic. Play and witness how characters react to your most chaotic choices!
Story
The prologue has been significantly extended to delve into her childhood and reveal more about her trauma. Live the dramatic, action-packed scenes where you try to avoid an early death. With a new revised backstory, our protagonist is a little... unhinged. She's not afraid to speak her mind, and her responses can be wildly unpredictable. Go ahead, choose the most audacious options and see how others react to her craziness!
Festivals!
This demo is being released to coincide with the Otome Games Celebration, which starts today (May 4th at 10am PT)! If you enjoy otome and romance visual novels, be sure to check out the festival and the many excellent games that have been released or are currently in development.
One more thing, did you know that I am an Australian?! I am proud to be participating in the upcoming ANZ Indie Fest (May 8th at 7:30pm AEST) alongside some truly awesome ANZ indie games! We're a creative bunch from the land down under, and there's so much more to us than beach, sheep, and wildlife 😄! Come show your support for the ANZ indie scene!
I hope you enjoy the update. See you in the game! 💕
Humbly Yours,
Small Serenity Studio
