Hello! In this patch, we've added a new item, changed monster behavior, added hints for new players, and fixed a number of bugs. These changes make the game even more interesting and tense, and also lay the groundwork for a number of major updates coming soon.
New item:
• Jar – you can throw it at enemies to temporarily stun them.
• If a jar breaks near a chicken, it will be startled.
• We significantly reduced the number of crosses. This is due to the addition of the Jar, which allows you to temporarily stop enemy pursuit, and to make the game more challenging.
Monster Behavior:
• Rabbit behavior has been adjusted. Their visibility range has been reduced. You can also now run and hide from them.
• Enemy navigation has been adjusted. Enemies now enter houses more easily and quickly, making the game more challenging.
• Witch behavior has been adjusted. She now reacts more actively to player sounds, is much more attentive to movement near her, and periodically searches for players on the map.
• Rabbit volume has been increased. It's now easier to hear where they are and when they've spotted you.
Balance Changes:
• We decreased the number of chickens
• We slightly reduced the difficulty reduction from feeding the stove.
• Kolobok now moves faster.
• The Sack of Grain is used faster.
• Feeding the stove in Singleplayer reduces the difficulty more significantly.
Visual Hints:
• We added hints when selecting items.
• When attempting to pick up an item with a full inventory, the message was not displayed. Fixed.
• A hint has been added indicating that another player can be revived with vodka.
Bug Fixes:
• Fixed a bug with changing shadow settings
• Changed the appearance of uranium so that it cannot fall under textures.
• Fixed a bug where certain sequences of actions allowed you to run while sitting.
• Players' injury sounds were inaudible to each other. Fixed.
• Items could not be picked up in some places. Fixed.
• A visual bug in Niece's model in the lobby has been fixed.
• When a player is resurrected, both players now hear a sound indicating the resurrection is complete.
• An issue with the sound of hero voices has been fixed. Previously, they were heard alternately in the right and left earpieces; now, they are heard in both.
• Fixed a bug where players' voice chat settings would reset when switching from the lobby to the game and back.
• Pressing Esc would unmute the microphone. Fixed.
• Now, clicking on Single Player takes you to the character selection menu. This will allow you to choose a suitable hero and, in the future, select perks.
• Previously, monsters could get stuck in passages if multiple enemies were chasing a player. Fixed.
• Some passages in the bunker were blocked to monsters. Now you have nowhere to hide.
