Hey everyone!
We’re thrilled (and slightly in debt) to announce that Rentlord is officially out today on Steam! 🪩💰
This is our roguelike real estate game where you're not just collecting rent — you’re building chaotic combo engines, unlocking powerful plugins, and trying to survive the week without being crushed by taxes. Every run is a new opportunity to outsmart the system (and your own bad investments).
Buy weird properties, stack wild combos, dodge taxes. It’s like Monopoly had a roguelike baby.
🏠 What’s Rentlord all about?
- Buy and flip properties across a range of weird and wonderful types
- Install powerful plugins to turn your buildings into income-generating machines
- Stack rent multipliers and trigger wild synergies
- Survive weekly challenges and randomized events
- Avoid taxes like your landlord’s life depends on it
Free Content Updates
Rentlord will get 4 free content updates after the release. We detailed these on this following image, and you can also see a constantly updated version of this roadmap on the main store page of the game!
💬 Last Words and Your Feedback
I'm a solo developer, and thank you for supporting me through development. Thank you all so much for wishlisting and playing the demo. And huge thank you to my publisher Rogue Duck Interactive and their team, handling all the marketing and coaching me through the making of the game!
Rentlord was a strange idea that became a stranger (and more fun) reality, and we can’t wait to see the combos you cook up.
Please share your ideas and feedback with me on the Steam Community Forums for the game, or send a Steam Review, which helps a lot for the visibility of the game.
