The Cooking Club Demo – Beta Patch Notes
Hello chefs! We’ve been back in the kitchen fixing up a few issues that slipped through last time. Thank you all for your patience and feedback—it really helps us polish things up! Here’s what’s cooking in this update:
Grammar & Text Fixes: Cleaned up a handful of small grammatical errors left in the code that managed to sneak past our beta testers.
Spider Akemi (Sprite Bug): Fixed Akemi’s sprite sometimes still appearing behind her, which caused her to look like she had four arms. Sadly, Akemi is not a secret spider-chef… so that bug has been squashed!
Music Level Adjustments: Attempted a fix on the game’s music balancing. For now, we recommend that all players set the in-game music to about halfway on the slider for the best experience.
Credits Not Rolling: Fixed a bug where the credits sometimes refused to play. They should now roll properly at the end so everyone who contributed gets their moment to shine!
Game Not Opening: Fixed an issue where the application occasionally wouldn’t open at all. Launching should now be smooth and reliable.
Poor Route Fix: Corrected a bug in the “Poor” cooking route where Akemi’s sprite wouldn’t disappear and she would awkwardly remain on screen. She should now exit properly when she’s supposed to.
Thank you again for playing and supporting The Cooking Club Demo—your feedback helps us improve every patch!
Make sure to update your game on Steam to get these fixes!
