Greetings Thieves,
This one is a slightly smaller patch, focused mainly on a few gameplay tweaks and some bug fixes that have been coming up through community feedback. As always, thank you for the reports and suggestions.
Gameplay:
Added the ability to toggle a new Reticle on your HUD. Based on recent feedback, this should help newer players get comfortable faster, and also assist players who experience motion sickness while playing. You can access this from the Gameplay setttings menu.
Added new Curse: Royal Guards. These Guards act as elite variants of regular Guards and will actively hunt down players. Once the Curse is active on a contract, they can spawn randomly and apply constant pressure.
Added new preview feature for Contract Maker. Allowing you to see a contract preview, including description and objectives, before selecting a contract.
Added new lootable: Iron Ingot. A slightly less valuable variant of the Gold Ingot, worth 50 Gold pieces.
Updated the main jeweller’s building on the Jewels Of The Trade contract to always have the front door open to improve general level flow and reduce early bottlenecks.
Bug fixes:
Fixed an issue where Guard detection rate would sometimes not properly decrease after breaking line of sight with a player.
Fixed an issue where the lockpicking mini-game progress bar would randomly jump to the beginning or end.
Fixed an issue where some milestone achievements were not incrementing correctly after completing a contract.
Fixed an issue where the Finale newspaper screen would not take up the entire screen upon loading.
As always if you have any feedback or bugs to report, you can do so right here in Steam's own discussions page. Alternatively if you’d like to connect with fellow thieves and report bugs on the official Discord server you can join today.
Happy heisitng!
