Hello everyone,
With a little delay, the German translation is finally coming into the game. The game should recognise and change the language you have set in Steam; if this doesn't work or you want to set the language yourself, you can do so by clicking on the flag symbol on the right-hand side of the screen.
The texts comprise a total of 30005 words, which may explain the waiting time ;-) Despite extensive testing (thanks also to the hard-working helpers!), it may happen that individual texts are still awaiting translation. Placeholders such as {MONEY} may also appear in texts. Or some formulations may still sound a little rough. If you notice anything in this respect, please let me know. However, I can now release this version with a clear conscience.
However, there are also translation restrictions: entries in the career events or in the diary are in the language that was set in the game when these entries were created. This means that there may still be English entries, but the new ones will be generated in German. Even when changing the language in the middle of the game, it is possible that some displayed elements are not translated immediately, and you have to leave the screen once. However, this is still being worked on at the moment.
During testing, a few bugs were noticed that have also been fixed with this update. These include, for example
- Bug fixes for events: non-functioning options or incorrectly calculated values
- Playing modes in the match can now be determined: from total defense to total offense
- Questions before important actions, such as firing players or cancelling training
- Construction time of buildings corrected
- The frequency of certain events reduced
- Transfer offers and negotiations made more realistic
- Adjustment in balancing for club strengths after many seasons
- The mood of the board no longer drops so quickly
- Removed some non-displayable special characters in player names
