Thank you all for the successful launch this past week and tremendous feedback for My Fly. The most consistent point of feedback has been for physical hardware control support. Specifically the use case of multiple inputs during any form of banking for rudder/aileron inputs as well as understanding crosswind landing complexities. During this, a user must be using both hands and feet to control throttle, crab angle, and climb/dive/roll during touchdown. The keyboard inputs are still possible to achieve this but has a larger learning curve.

The Logitech G (Saitek) Flight Simulator Yoke, Throttle, and Rudder Pedal physical hardware controls are now supported for My Fly version 2.3.2.1. This is best accessible within the Freeplay Flight mode. Yoke controls for left/right/up/down as well as flaps up/down on B1/B2 yoke buttons, rudder left/right, and throttle 1/2/3 0-1 have been mapped to each of the control surface inputs and engine inputs on the control column for real-time feedback.
To use:
Prior to launching My Fly to use the new physical hardware controls, ensure the hardware is updated from Logitech and connected to your PC via USB.
Once connected, launch My Fly and select the location desired to start in the Freeplay Flight mode.
Aviate the aircraft with real time feedback and inputs to the plane.
Note:
Support for the new physical hardware controls within the Flight School and Scenario modes is limited. Possible aircraft resets, real-time feedback from the control column, and step inputs are impacted with the new control scheme when the controls are plugged in. All designated step sequencing follows the primary input controls for keyboard only as initially designed. Aviating during these modes is possible to help understand the inputs required and ease the aviation transitions.
Additional Global Updates:
Interior camera movement sensitivity has been increased for ease of viewing.
Pilot rating score is reset from this update, ranks for scenarios and flight school completion remain.
This application will always be focused as a familiarization trainer with procedural learning for aspiring pilots on low end machines.
Thank you all for the feedback and continued support of My Fly.
Clear skies ahead!
