The world of Mystic Fishing is filled with fun and interesting characters for you to find. There is even heart-to-heart events where you can fulfil quests, give gifts, or just have a nice chat.
We'll explore some of these characters in a two part news announcement. Today we start with our two main characters!
A young girl who grew up with her father in the small fishing village of Driftveil. She had lived most of her life secluded in the town, only leaving to fish at a nearby pond. Determined and strong willed, paired with a vast wanderlust, her father helps to set her off on her journey to explore the land of Concordia and become a master angler! Though her compassion and inability to abandon those in need end up roping her into a much bigger destiny.
Sakura has a strong will and the perseverance to overcome any obstacle. Her dream to become a master angler, like her father, and travel the world, like her mother. Though her bond with her father is very strong as he raised her, the circumstances around her mother and bit more obfuscated. There's an uneasy tension in the air whenever her mother is mentioned. Nevertheless, when she puts her trust and faith into her partner Kiara, there's nothing they can't accomplish!
Deftly skilled with a fishing spear, Kiara is apart of the Seafaring Tribe. A race of non-humans who have a natural strong connection to the sea and Oceanic Elements. Unable to sit still for even a moment, this whirlwind of a girl has a heart of gold and only wishes to support her friends and family anyway she can. With her natural sense of the elements, she helps Sakura blossom her voyage into something much more grand.
Kiara is a chaotic storm with a heart of gold. She's constantly all over the place and more than handful when it comes to keeping her still. On top of this, she never misses a chance to speak her mind, though it sometimes comes out a little blunt. Though when paired with Sakura, Kiara manages to contain herself more and follow lead. Kiara also seems to have somewhat of a crush on Sakura after being promised travelling the world together. Out of the multitude of things this girl never stops talking about, this is one situation where she is quietly reserved. You'll never meet a more trustworthy and dependable friend than her.
