Hello everyone,
This is the development team of .
First of all, we would like to sincerely thank everyone for the love and support you have shown for the recently updated multiplayer mode.
We will continue to improve areas that still need refinement in multiplayer mode (such as convenience features, notifications, and bug fixes).
Today, we have added a new feature that allows players to listen to YouTube music together in multiplayer mode.
The details are as follows:
YouTube Listen Together (Watch Together) Feature Added (Beta)
You can now listen to and watch YouTube music/videos together with other players in the same multiplayer room.
This feature plays YouTube videos through a shared YouTube link, but each participant plays the video through their own YouTube account. As a result, other sounds from Mini Cozy Room (such as ambient sounds or sound effects) are not shared, and only the YouTube music/video played through the embedded YouTube window will be shared. In addition, YouTube Live videos cannot be played in the embedded player.
Due to the system structure, advertisements may appear depending on each listener’s playback conditions (such as login status or YouTube Premium subscription), regardless of whether the host has YouTube Premium.
Please also note that playback timing may not be perfectly synchronized between the host and listeners. However, if the host changes the video, all listeners will immediately switch to the new video as well.
This feature is currently in Beta, and we will continue improving it over time.
(Originally, we planned to stream all audio played within the game (including offline files) in real time. However, after legal review, we determined that this approach could cause copyright issues (such as public performance rights). Therefore, the feature was redesigned and implemented in its current form.)
Multiplayer Mode – Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where the Focus Mode icon would occasionally not appear.
Fixed an issue where the activity section would sometimes not synchronize when changing seats.
Fixed an issue where the host would occasionally be disconnected from the room when players joined a multiplayer room.
Fixed an issue where chat input would sometimes not work even though chat was enabled.
Fixed an issue where the player count would change to 0/0 when a user left the room after the room had been active for a long time.
Other Bug Fixes
The Time Master achievement logic has been changed. Previously, when repeat mode was enabled, the entire repeat cycle had to finish to count as one session. Now, each session counts individually even if repeat mode is enabled.
Fixed an issue where the audio volume in settings was not synchronized with the player’s audio volume.
Fixed an issue where furniture shadows appeared too bright.
Fixed an issue where some DLC outfits could be selected before purchase.
Fixed an issue where newly added languages (Polish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, Thai) would revert back to English after restarting the game.
We will continue doing our best to improve the game and provide the best possible experience for our players.
Thank you very much for your continued support.
