Hey everyone! Next Fest has officially wrapped up, and what an amazing ride it's been for Replicat! The response from the community has been absolutely overwhelming, and I wanted to share some exciting milestones we hit together.
The Numbers That Made Us Purr
1,500+ new wishlists - You incredible humans really showed up for our jazzy cat deckbuilder!
50+ streamers played and shared Replicat with their communities
50+ demo reviews earned us that coveted "Very Positive" rating
Invaluable feedback from players who really "got" what we're building
Special Shoutout: The Royal Writ Collaboration
One of the highlights was our collaboration with The Royal Writ team! It was absolutely delightful watching players discover the connection between our games when they spotted the king card in Replicat representing The Royal Writ's main character. These kinds of indie dev partnerships make the community feel truly special.
Please make sure to check their game out!

What's Next: Your Feedback Drives Development
The feedback you provided during Next Fest has been incredibly insightful. Based on your suggestions and observations, I'm diving back into development with a clear roadmap for improvements and exciting new content additions, more cards, curios, and gameplay refinements are coming!
Fresh Updates Already Live
I've already pushed some immediate improvements based on your feedback:
🔧 Quality of Life Improvements:
Enhanced Accessibility: Added color type information to card tooltips, making the game more accessible for colorblind players and clearer when special effect shaders are active
UI Polish: Removed the confusing "new essence notification" from the end-round screen - it now only appears in the shop where you can actually use it
🐛 Bug Squashing:
Fixed the "moves x 20" card interaction issue with certain curios that was setting moves to 0 at turn end
🎨 Content Updates:
The Royal Deck has been retired (farewell, old friend!), but our beloved king card representing The Royal Writ stays as a permanent tribute to our collaboration
Thank You, Amazing Community!
To everyone who downloaded the demo, left a review, added Replicat to their wishlist, or simply shared their thoughts - thank you! Your enthusiasm for our cat-themed deckbuilder keeps the development fire burning bright.
The journey from demo to full release is going to be incredible, and I can't wait to share more updates, improvements, and surprises with you all.
Stay tuned for more development updates, and keep those wishlists coming!
Meow and out! 🎵🐱
