“You cannot change the past. You can only choose who it makes you.”
Hello everyone,
We are pleased to announce that the next chapter of Deadvale is here, and you can play it now in the Deadvale Demo! For those who have played previous content (or if you don't mind spoilers) we’ve added a convenient option to skip to the newest content.
Check out the trailer:
Deadvale’s demo will receive continued updates in the future as we compete and polish new chapters of the game, and we both ask for and appreciate any feedback you have - it really helps, every bit. The game is 100% built by volunteers, is unfunded, does not accept donations, and we rely on feedback to make the game a better experience. There is a feedback link in-game and our Discord is always open, as well as our Steam discussions page.
All new content as well as previously released areas are now fully voiced, thanks to the efforts of over 40 phenomenal voice actors who have graciously dedicated their talents to help bring Deadvale to life.
In the last demo release, our protagonist awoke, shipwrecked on a mysterious shore, surrounded by a grim scene. There weren’t many survivors, and classic CRPG elements we know and love such as intricate dialogue trees, choices, personal stories, and role-playing, were scarce. That changes quite a bit with our latest release, and we’re excited for you to dig deeper into the world of Deadvale and see it grow into the classics-inspired CRPG we want it to be. As for the story, we won’t say anything more.
Finally, we’d like to acknowledge the contributions of all those involved in the project. A huge thanks to everyone who has helped build the latest chapter of Deadvale! A complete listing of contributors, along with their personal websites, can be found in the credits page on Deadvale’s main menu.
Cheers,
Juggernaute
P.S. One of our anonymous feedback responses requested an option for an inverted camera Y-Axis, which has been added to the game.
P.P.S. During playtesting we kept adding graphics settings until the game ran at playable FPS on a 10 year old potato laptop with integrated graphics.
