Hello prospectors!
Earlier this year, we shared that the Wildgate service in China, operated in partnership with NetEase Games, would be closing. Today, we're sharing more details on how players in China can continue their journey through the Reach on our global service.
China Service Closure
The Wildgate China service will officially end at 3 p.m. Beijing Time (BJT) on April 30, 2026 / 12 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) on April 30, 2026. Until that time, players can continue logging in and playing on the NetEase Games service as usual.
Joining the Global Service
Players from China can access the global Wildgate service through Steam beginning April 30, 2026 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) / May 1 at 2 a.m. Beijing Time (BJT). Due to technical limitations, user data from the China service will not be transferred, but we want to make sure you have a strong start!
Your Welcome Package
To help you hit the ground running, every player joining us from the China service will receive a welcome package on their new account, including:
The Base Game
The Renegade Pack (DLC)
1,000 Chips
4,000 Fragments
Players should have already received Steam keys via in-game mail. Upon logging in, you'll see these gifts already in your account. Use them to gear up and get back into the action right away.
Patch 1.5 Coming Soon
Wildgate’s Patch 1.5 is coming later this month, bringing fresh content and new ways to explore the Reach.
Whether you’re a veteran or a rookie, the Reach is bigger with you in it. We can't wait to see you out there alongside prospectors from all over the world.
