Hasenobou, one of the grotesque entities haunting Izanami Yako, drifts between the realms of life and death. His upper body is hidden, his legs faintly visible—an eerie silhouette barely tethered to the world. What kind of form did he have when he was still human?

Hasenobou is an enemy that relentlessly chases the player. No matter how narrow the corridor or tight the gap, he will pursue you without pause. Once spotted, your only options are to flee—or hide.
Yet, Hasenobou is not a mindless pursuer. There are invisible “rules” that govern his behavior. Observing and understanding the patterns in his movement may be the key to survival.
◆ The Past of Hasenobou
Some say Hasenobou is the shadow of a being once sealed within these lands. A soul stripped of will, driven only by a forgotten mission. Long ago, he may have sacrificed himself to protect someone dear. Now, with no memory of that act, he continues to walk—bound by a vow he can no longer recall.
