Multiplayer along with a few features have been done!
As for the paid Early Access release, the ETA is around 10th March or so (at 10AM PST), then a couple of the demo's features (mainly transpose, theme, custom SF) will be disabled by then to make it different to the paid version.
Below are some updates:
- Multiplayer mode is out! Play & chat in a room of up to 8 players! For now, you can only see lobbies of players running the same version as you.
- Integration with the Wooting keyboard (using velocity estimation codes heavily inspired by Wooting) to measure the velocity of the Analog QWERTY keyboard to play notes loudly/softly using their keyboards. Thanks noakopiano@ for suggesting this awesome idea!
- Custom theme - upload image! With ambient noise option! Thanks noakopiano@ for these awesome ideas!
- New keybinds as requested by many players!
- Transposition works for out of range notes - thanks wisposhka@ for the idea!
- Experimental game modes - thanks APSSL@ for the idea. I also created a QWERTY typing (a bit like the online typing tests but for Virtual Piano).
Really appreciate the community for the regular feedback! Don't forget to join the Discord community, it is growing! Hopefully the Discord community will grow much more after release! Look forward to hearing your piano covers.
