Rumble City is on the Horizon
A couple of fun things in the pipeline that we would like to share!
The multiplayer issues we were facing are no more! Since this is our first multiplayer game, candidly, we had a difficult time figuring out how to integrate multiplayer seamlessly. The good news is that we figured it out! So now we are focusing on scaling our game's content.
The playtest we are working on producing is still in the pipeline, and we are still thinking it will be before the end of the year. Since it's not the most important to do a large scale marketing push on it, we will post a community update when access is available.
Those are the quick updates for now but... I've decided as a treat for waiting over a month to hear from us that I will fill you in on the plans for our single-player content!
Every run is a mini-crime saga:
You’ll fight through 3–5 matches against AI opponents. Survive the streets, and you’ll face a House Boss at the end of the run.
That boss is randomly chosen from a pool of 6 bosses – one for each major gang in Rumble City.
Once you’ve fought a boss, they’re removed from the pool for your next runs. You keep going until you’ve faced all 6 at least once. Beat the 6th boss and you unlock:
Boss Rush Mode
A brutal gauntlet where you fight all 6 bosses back-to-back!
The order? Random. The pain? Guaranteed.
Conquer Boss Rush and there’s one last problem…
Final Showdown: Cade Norfex
Defeat the 6 bosses and you’ll be invited to settle things with the city’s original founder himself: Cade Norfex.
Win that fight and you unlock the Chronobreaker – a legendary time-warping weapon.
You’ll also snag a special achievement and trigger the credits – your full saga in Rumble City, complete…
Thanks everyone, and I look forward to sharing more soon!
- Chad
