Bearly Brave – Demo Update V0.8.8
Hi everyone! ːsteamhappyː
First of all, thank you so much to everyone who has played the demo so far. Your feedback, bug reports, and creative combos have been incredibly helpful. We've been reading everything and working hard to improve the game with every update.
This patch brings a round of balancing, fixes, and a little surprise for Jumbo Battery users. Here's what's new:
🔧 Balancing & Changes
Enemy HP reduced by ≈20% across the board. This should give players more room to experiment with builds and potentially open the door for no-hit runs.
Fix-It Joe was hitting too hard, so we adjusted his second ability:
Before: Deals +1 Damage for each "Scrap" card in your deck
Now: Deals +1 Damage if you have "Scrap" cards in your hand
Some players were getting stuck while using Jumbo Battery and running out of resources. Now, if you run out of Candies, Discards, and Energy while holding Jumbo Battery... stuff will happen. (Let us know if it works — yes, it's a pun.)
2 new Patches have been added to the pool.
Patch Scaling Buffs:
Gray Plane: 0.2 → 0.25
Pink Plane: 0.25 → 0.3
Pain Wagon Skill nerfed:
Damage per Brand reduced from 15 → 10
🐞 Bug Fixes
Fixed a rare bug where enemies looked alive at 0 HP. Wrong game genre, guys.
If this ever happens again, please use the "Copy my build" button in the ESC menu and send us the .res file
Fixed multiple translation issues
Fixed various smaller bugs (and probably introduced new ones, as tradition dictates)
🏆 Community Event Coming Soon!
We're preparing a community event where players will compete for the highest combo score, with cool prizes for the top players.
Full details coming soon — stay tuned, and start training those combos!
Thanks again for playing and supporting Bearly Brave!
