Thank You for an Amazing Launch - Patch #1 is Live!
Dear Evil Lords,
First of all: thank you!
It’s been amazing to finally see Packed Lair out in the wild, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has jumped into the game on launch day, shared their thoughts and reported issues
We’ve been closely following your feedback since launch, and we’re already putting it to work.
As part of this, we’re happy to report that Patch #1 is now live! It addresses several of the reported issues alongside performance improvements, audio updates, and a new way to acknowledge your victories.
What’s Included in Patch #1
Red Dragon Positioning
Fixed a positioning issue that caused the Red Dragon to remain too far behind the battle line during combat.
Achievements
Fixed an issue that prevented some achievements from triggering correctly.
Performance & Memory Improvements
Identified and resolved several memory leaks alongside additional general performance improvements.
Spider Sound Effects
Improved the sound effects for Spider units.
Arcane Refinery Bonus
Fixed an issue where the Arcane Refinery was incorrectly applying its bonus to buildings up to 3 cells away, rather than the 2-cell range stated in its building description.
New: Golden Stars
We’ve added a new Golden Star feature to acknowledge your victories!
After winning the game with a faction, a Golden Star will now appear beside that faction to mark your achievement.
You’ll see your Golden Stars:
On the New Run screen when selecting a faction
On the Post-Game screen when winning with a faction for the first time
How many can you collect? ⭐
