Thank you for your continued support of Bloodstorm: Alien Purge! This update focuses on enhancing gameplay, polishing visuals, and introducing a highly anticipated new feature to deliver a smoother and more immersive shooting experience.
🛠️ Bug Fixes
We've addressed the following issues to improve game stability:
Projectile System: Fixed an issue where a small number of throwable objects had incorrect flight trajectories and could deal damage while off-camera.
Interaction Hitboxes: Resolved a bug that prevented players from hitting health packs.
Boss Fight Tuning: Adjusted the hitboxes for certain boss attacks to better match their visual effects, fixing instances where they were difficult to hit.
🎨 Art & Animation Updates
We've polished several visual elements to increase immersion:
UI & Hints: Updated the positioning and visual presentation of some in-game hints to make them clearer and more noticeable.
Character Animation: Fixed and added several character animations for smoother and more natural movement.
Scene Atmosphere: Enhanced details in a few environments to strengthen the narrative atmosphere.
✨ New Feature
Reload at Screen Edge: You can now perform a reload directly when firing at the edge of the screen!
🎯 Important Note: This feature is designed for players seeking an authentic arcade experience. When using compatible PC light gun peripherals, simply move your gun outside the screen bounds to reload—just like in the arcade—for seamless and satisfying action!
