Update 1.05

This week's patch includes some much requested features and bugfixes.
Also, if there are any Lua developers out there, we invite you to check out our updated addon documentation on Github. Addons can be developed in Lua, and can be submitted to the Steam Workshop for everyone to see.

  • Added automatic smart quotes, “like these”. This feature can be configured in the metadata settings of the current document.
  • Added a random name generator. It's located in the addons menu (the Star button) and in the right click context menu.
  • Added the ability to add cover images to ePub (metadata), PDF, and HTML exporters.
  • Added a new default (light) theme: “Sky Blue”
  • Added a “Browse” button for program background image in the settings dialog.
  • Added addon permission "USERINFO" which gives access to the user lib.
  • Added an error when attempting to upload images to the Steam Workshop that are bigger than 1 MB.
  • Fixed first word in paragraphs other than the first paragraph not being capable of having formatting.
  • Fixed possible crash with image and doodle notes.
  • Fixed spellchecker reporting errors on spans of characters that are not actually words.
  • Fixed a problem with LanguageTool sometimes hanging on big stories.
  • Fixed a problem with LanguageTool not properly using UTF-8 encoding in some cases.
  • Fixed layout issues in HTML exporting dialog.
