Hey Everyone! Hope you've been enjoying the demo so far.
Since releasing the demo, we've been getting fantastic feedback, particularly on the new player experience and that it is quite daunting.
Our philosophy has been to encourage exploration and give space to the player to piece things together and get that great feeling of doing something clever. As such we had tooltips everywhere we could think of and had non-intrusive pop-up tips that are triggered by things the player does to help provide more insight/context.
That said, we hear the feedback loud and clear. So we've added a tutorial that runs through the basics and also guides the player through the first 6 turns, following a deterministic pattern of play that results in pretty solid start to a run.
We are always looking for feedback to make the game better and more fun. We've also added a link to a Feedback Form in-game (in the main menu and the win/lose screen) that links to a Google Form. Please feel free to use the form whenever you'd like to give feedback!
Thanks for playing!
