Happy Holidays everyone!
Hope you all are having a great holiday season and enjoying the rolling boulder grind! For the winter sale, Sisyphus Simulator is 25% off!
I wanted to take this end-of-year announcement to thank everyone who has bought the game and given helpful feedback. And to cover a few things:
Linux + SteamOS Support
Linux and SteamOS (Steam Deck) compatibility has NOT been officially reviewed by Valve... yet. I have had it tested by a number of friends who own the hardware, and we have found no issues thus far. So, on the store page, minimum support requirements are listed. Please reach out if you have any issues running the game on Linux or Steam hardware.
Mobile Publishing
I have looked into options for publishing the game on mobile devices and have no conclusive news for any planned release... yet. I'm sure other people are more of an expert on mobile publishing, but for me, it will be complicated to figure out and/or pricey to get an established publisher's help. Rest assured though, I can promise here and now that when the game does come to mobile, it will be FREE with minimal ads.
Future Plans
Honestly, outside of eventually bringing more localized languages to the game, I don't have a lot of other content planned for Sisyphus Sim. Look to the future for my next release (hopefully something with more of a horror element to it), and potentially a custom website and other store page releases!
Thanks again! I will continue to update the game with any fixes and additions developed further. But, for the most part, I am preparing to move on to (hopefully) bigger and better creations. Hope you all have a lovely holiday season and a happy new year!
