Upcoming Patch – Achievement Fixes, New Music & Settings Reset
Hi everyone!
A new update is scheduled to go live on 🗓️ 2025-05-22 at 20:00 (CET / Swedish time).
Thanks so much for your patience — I’ve been away on a short holiday for a few days, but I’m back now and ready to roll out an important update.
This patch addresses a number of issues with the Achievement system, adds new music, and resets the way settings are saved — which helps support multiple users more reliably going forward.
What’s Changing
"Quit While Ahead" was not unlocking correctly for some players due to a bug where the system missed the unlock trigger. This has been fixed.
The Achievement Manager now automatically syncs with Steam every 5 minutes — so if an achievement doesn’t register right away, it will be retried in the background.
A final sync now runs when you quit the game, ensuring any just-earned achievements are sent to Steam before the game exits.
Achievements and stats are now saved per Steam user on your computer, meaning if you switch Steam accounts, the system won’t grant achievements that were earned by someone else.
Offline play is supported — achievements will be saved locally and synced the next time you’re online.
🎵 Two new background music tracks have been added!
⚠️ Settings Reset Warning
To support proper per-user saving, the system has changed.
As a result, the following settings will be reset for all players after the update:
Language
Difficulty level.
Music volume.
Total game time counter. (This refers to in-game time used for the “One Hour” achievement — not your total Steam playtime.)
Sorry for the inconvenience — this is a one-time change that ensures future saves are more robust and Steam-aware.
🚀 The update will go live today, May 22 at 20:00 Swedish time (CEST).
