Okay fine, here's what going on.
I've been trying for weeks to push New Meat over the 10 review line, and I'd really like to get it there in the next month or so for...behind-the-scenes reasons. I know a lot of people have New Meat wishlisted, so I figured this was a good time for a sale to potentially get a few more eyes on the game.
If you're reading this and picked up the game in the Sale, please consider leaving a review once you've given the game a try. But don't think I'm just fishing for thumbs-up, here. Positive or negative, I want to hear what you think. This isn't just about the review count either (though that is, I want to stress, VERY IMPORTANT). I also just want to hear your feedback! The updates to the game thus far have all come out of community responses, so don't hold back and just tell me what you think.
