The big day is here! You and your friends can now play the free Mailstrom demo! The demo supports 1-4 players, and allows your team to make unlimited delivery drops to the first delivery zone in Ringville. You can earn money from your missions, choose higher difficulty shifts to increase the challenge (and the payout), and even buy a couple of items at the postal supply shop!
We're very excited to hear what you think, either here or on our discord: https://discord.gg/sDvkH5gQNJ

It's been a few weeks since we did a "weekly" update, and the amount of new stuff in the game is frankly beyond description. Some highlights:
* Mission loop fully complete - teams progress through three-strike route assignments, and once they pass, they move on to a new landing location. After passing all five landing zones, the team graduates to a new rank. Difficulty, obstacles, parcel counts (and types), and mission payouts all change as the team becomes more experienced
* Added character assignment and mission outro screens - now you can tell which character you are, and you can see your individual achievements at the end of each mission. You can also identify other players' names by hovering over them with your reticle
* Added a huge amount of environmental mission variety - no two drops are the same, with new kinds of navigational puzzles, hazards, and other obstacles creating new challenges for your team
* Purchasable items in the store persist across saves - now you can save up to buy items for your team in the store. When you reload a save, the items will come sliding down the main item ramp at the beginning of your session
* HUD improvements - your whole team is notified of major mission events, including successful deliveries. The mission timer now communicates with new urgency when you're getting closer to the end of your time allowance. Contextual hotkey hints appear when you point your reticle at different targets in the scene
* Lots of new character flavor - new delivery voices, a new robot tending the store, new tutorial voiceover
* Smoother animations, new weapon vfx, and performance improvements
* Fixed a zillion bugs
Next up, we're going to start playing with a new mission types system that will further increase the variety of challenges your team encounters. If you're enjoying the demo, keep your eyes peeled for our Closed Beta announcement. :)
May your parcels be light,
Nate
