Hello, everyone,
This is the WANDERING SOULS team. First of all, we really want to thank you all for your ongoing attention and support for our project, as well as for your patience and understanding! (bows)
After the DEMO launch and the crowdfunding campaign, we received a lot of valuable feedback from players. Upon reviewing everything, we've made adjustments to the subsequent chapters, working hard to add more interaction and camera work, hoping to improve everyone’s immersion. During script implementation, we also discovered some issues. To ensure you get a better story experience, some plotlines have been reworked as well.
Therefore, we want to sincerely apologize: WANDERING SOULS, originally scheduled for release in December, will be delayed after careful consideration. The new estimated release is Q1 2026.
We know this decision will disappoint those who love WANDERING SOULS and have been looking forward to its launch. We are truly, truly sorry. But we genuinely hope to deliver a better finished product to everyone—that’s always been our goal.
Regarding the crowdfunding, if anyone wishes to request a refund, we will fully cooperate—after all, the delay is our responsibility. For those who choose to continue supporting the project, please rest assured that once WANDERING SOULS is completed, we will deliver all the promised rewards as planned and ship them out in a timely manner. We apologize again! (bows)
Your patience and understanding mean the world to us, and are our greatest motivation. We will do our very best to complete WANDERING SOULS. Moving forward, we’ll continue to share development updates with everyone on our QQ group, Steam, and Modian, and strive to meet you all as soon as possible.
It’s been two weeks since our last update, and the adjustments for Chapter 4 are almost finished. We’ll also be doing a final round of feedback and revisions, after which Chapter 4 will be complete.
Next week, we’ll sort out the remade Chapter 3, and then building and asset production will proceed simultaneously.
That’s all for now.
