Dear Sect Leaders,
Since version 1.1 launched, we have updated the World Map and added numerous Sect War features. These changes have greatly expanded the game's content and gameplay, while also allowing you to take a more active part in the Jianghu beyond managing your own Sect. We are deeply grateful for all the feedback we have received along the way!
However, this is far from our destination. We understand your expectations and recognize the areas of the game that have drawn criticism. They drive us to keep updating and refining this game into which we have poured so much effort. We will continue until it becomes the game you enjoy and the game we aspire for it to be.
Today, we would like to preview the content planned for V1.2. While it may not open up entirely new modes and battlefields on the scale of V1.1, it will still be a milestone update worth commemorating. We will also share development logs from time to time to keep you informed of our progress, and we welcome your feedback. The update is planned for the middle to latter half of next month.
We will keep working toward V1.3, V1.4... and all the way to V2.0. Please look forward to it! The Sect's origin is only the beginning!
V1.2 Overview
As the Jianghu continues to evolve, new gameplay and exploration content are in development. In this update, you will be able to train disciples and arrange sparring within your Sect, then lead them into Mystic Realms and cities to explore unknown areas, take on quests, and gather resources. At the same time, we will continue improving the late-game experience so that managing your Sect feels smoother than ever.
I. Mystic Realms Emerge: Opportunity Waits for No One
The World Map will receive further expansion and improvements. As conditions across the world change, different types of Mystic Realms will appear on the map.
You can dispatch disciples to explore them and seek out hidden resources, events, and rewards.
Some Mystic Realms may contain special instances or standalone challenge modes.
Completing an exploration may reward you with rare weapons, Martial Fragments, and other valuable prizes.
The timing, location, and contents of each Mystic Realm may vary.
When faced with a new opportunity, you will need to decide whether to explore based on your disciples' strength and your Sect's current needs.
II. City Exploration: Step into a Truly Lively Jianghu
We plan to open certain cities for you to enter and explore with your disciples, rather than treating them only as battlefields.
Within cities, you will be able to:
Observe the everyday lives of Jianghu figures;
Talk and interact with different characters;
Take on quests within the city;
Purchase local specialties;
Carry goods elsewhere and trade based on price differences.
These cities will not only be new areas to explore,
but also important places for disciples to encounter the Jianghu, acquire quests, gather resources, and learn about the forces shaping the world.
Perhaps this will be our new beginning, and many future stories may unfold here...
III. Sect Ancestral Halls: Remember Every Disciple Who Fought for Your Sect
Disciples may pay the ultimate price during adventures and battles in the Jianghu.
After the update, fallen disciples will be buried. You can build dedicated graves for them and record the contributions they made to your Sect.
As your Sect develops, you will later be able to build larger Sect Ancestral Halls where other disciples can pay their respects and remember the fellow disciples who once fought at their side.
Graveyards and Ancestral Halls may also be connected to certain special martial arts.
When disciples train at graveyards, they may gain accelerated training, allowing the experiences of fallen disciples to continue influencing the Sect's development.
IV. Sect Sparring: Let Your Disciples Prove Themselves in the Arena
You will be able to build dedicated sparring grounds within your Sect and arrange sparring matches for your disciples.
Have disciples test themselves against one another to assess their recent training, or observe their combat performance to identify those worthy of focused training.
For disciples who have just completed their training, sparring is an opportunity to gain practical combat experience;
For the Sect, it will become another way to cultivate masters and strengthen the Sect as a whole.
V. A Smoother Sect Management Experience
We will continue optimizing housing structures and related systems to reduce loading waits when loading late-game saves for large Sects.
Whether you are building a grand Sect or expanding it to house more disciples, we want your game to run more smoothly and reduce waiting caused by larger save files.
