This is update aims to address some usability issues in the release version of the game
Input changes
- Gamepad/Steam deck triggers are now bound as mouse clicks. If this causes issues when dragging multiple tiles, please try running the game in compatibility mode with proton experimental.
- The case file and map popups can now be closed using the B button.
Mac Steam Cloud
The mac steam cloud path was incorrectly configured and has now been fixed. If you play on multiple platforms, but primarily on mac, please ensure you start the game on mac first to preserve your latest save. (Previously your mac saves would not have been syncing to other devices at all).
Countdown Mode
There is a new "countdown mode" which can be enabled in the gameplay settings tab. With this setting enabled, the clue counts will count down as you place light tiles.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where the first puzzle would reset when you start playing on a second device.
- Fixed various grammar and spelling issues.
- The cutscene bars have been shrunk to make sure speech is visible on all ultrawide aspect ratios.
