Commanders,
I'm excited to announce Dynasty Protocol v0.5.0 - Admiral Mode Update is now live!
What's New
Admiral Mode - Take The Helm! For the first time, you can directly control your warships in combat! Jump into the pilot's seat and experience space battles from a whole new perspective. The new Admiral Mode UI provides all the critical information you need to outmaneuver your enemies and lead your fleet to victory.
Asteroid Resource Regeneration
Asteroids now regenerate depleted resources over time based on your difficulty settings. Plan your long-term mining strategy carefully - each regeneration cycle yields a percentage of the original capacity, decreasing with each cycle.
Enhanced Combat Systems
Improved weapon targeting stability for more reliable combat
Better turret textures for visual clarity
Enhanced audio system supporting Admiral Mode
Quality of Life Improvements
Comprehensive keyboard mapping support for vessel controls
Improved Save/Load system
General UI improvements across the board
Better repair conditions for Stations, Outposts, and Defense Platforms
New colony capture helper tips
Bug Fixes
This update addresses numerous community-reported issues, including camera transition problems, Defense Platform ownership issues, button hover detection, and much more. Check the full patch notes for details.
As a solo developer, your feedback has been invaluable in shaping this update. Thank you for your continued support and patience during Early Access!
Clear skies, Commanders!
