Welcome to Dice A Million 1.1: Uncommon Shapes, for the first time in consoles too!
Managing all of these besides all the differernt ports (7 versions of the game!!!!) has been completely brutal for me, I can now see why this is usually done by a team of experts...
However, we're finally here, and thanks to the GP users who got the update well over 12 hours ago, they helped iron out some of the last issues in the update, so this should be a very clean build!
If you find any bugs or want to leave any feedback, the best thing is to leave a comment here or go join our discord server!
The new update is full of new dice and new fun ways to play, but also tons and tons of improvements, from a new physics system, to a completely revamped german translation, be sure to read below.
I really hope you enjoy, a lot of love and care has been put into everything as always :)
Also! the game will be at a 20% discount for 2 weeks in celebration, so be sure to tell your friends...

New features detailed: (beware of spoilers!)
- New dice: Bamboo D4, Coral D4, Jade D4, MiniDisc, Die in a Can, Bullet Die, Spotted D5, Viral D5, Marshmallow, Poker Chip, Secret Cookie, Floral Die, Puzzle Piece, Musical Block, Swift Die, Mountain D4, Silver Coin
- New rings: Poker Ring, Coppermind, Shape Amulet, Crochet Ring, Player's Ring, Weighted Ring, Lead Bar, American Knuckle, DCMC Ring, Ectoplasmic Ring, Alchemist's Ring, Ring of the Snake
- New card: Punch Card
- Face Weights: You can now apply Weights to certain dice faces, making that face more likely to roll. These are obtainable mostly on events and the boss shop.
- Rewrote the entire dice physics system. Instead of using GameMaker's built-in one, Dice A Million now uses a custom one. This basically means it's gonna run a lot better overall but also that I can now control exactly how it behaves, so here are some new rules regarding physics:
1. Dice cannot ever leave the table area (I considered not fixing this cause it's funny when dice overflow, but I think it's better this way, let me know what you think)
2. Dice cannot physically overlap with each other now, this means a lot of more bounces (including extra rolled dice) and a lot more visual clarity
3. The only exception to the previous rule is ''not-dice'' dice like fire, paper, etc. when they're on the table, they cannot be moved and they won't interact with the physics system, meaning other dice will be able to overlap them and won't bounce off of them.
Changes:
- Dice A Million now uses GameMaker LTS 2026
- Completely revamped German translation! (A lot of German players were very unhappy with it, so I hired a different person to completely rework the translation, I'm pretty sure it's great now, so give it a try!)
- Rewritten CRT Filter. Should look almost the same but run a LOT better. If you previously disabled it for performance reasons, try now as it probably will work much smoother!
- Spintop is now a D5 (can roll 1-5, instead of a fixed 2, though its effect remains the same)
- Shirt Button now always gives 4 pips, instead of 0
- Odd of Dice and Even of Dice now just check for dice you rolled (so dice already or the table or extra dice don't count) making it work exactly like Bicolor Hand, for consistency purpouses
- Pyramid no longer loses its value after triggering its effect
- Pyramid has a new sound effect
- Fortune Die and Myserty Gift now make you draw extra dice upon triggering their effect, so you don't lose your normal draw in exchange for ghost dice
- Ghost dice spawned from other dice now inherit their enchantments
- Ice Effect from Ice Die now stacks slowing down even more dice rolled next
- Rubik Cube's pieces now transfer 1/6 of their gained extra value to the main Cube (instead of full ev)
- Water Ring now always triggers after Parity Interchanger
- Water Ring now puts out fire on dice burnt by Fire Ring
- Gilded Water Ring now pushes everything to the lower right corner of the table, basically making every area effect *almost* always trigger on everything
- Solar Mini Watch now triggers every 6 rolls (down from of 7)
- Solar Mini Watch now uses the new +Hand size roll effect
- Fission Ring and Fusion Ring now trigger just once whenever any die gets exhausted, and not once per exhaustion
- Updated the Onion Ring sound effect
- Added a new effect for when a you have Mimic Ring and dice get destroyed
- Added a new effect for when dice are locked onto the table
- Added a slight screen shake for Time Bomb explosions
- Dice that leave stuff on the table (Paper Die, Fire Die, etc) now cannot stay themselves via any effects
- Keywords that mention a specific die now show its sprite
- Gilded rings are now properly displayed in the end of run screen
- You can now click on the Power Level dots to quickly select them (just like you can do with hands)
- You can now hold R to reset even while looking at menus
- Added the ALT hotkey to use Auto-Select while the setting is active
- Autoselect now also takes multiplier into account
- Changed how the selection of an active ring's target works on gamepad. Moving through dice on the board is now ID based rather than position based, meaning you'll no longer struggle selecting dice that are on top of each other
- Added different gamepad button icons, used depending on the controller (default on PC is Xbox-style)
- Added controller rumble
- Added a bunch of controller related animations
- Added a new argument on the console to /give dice with the new Face Weights
Bugfixes:
- Fixed the Natural 6 crash (finally)
- Lowered the safety timer on the round end phone (Some people reported it sometimes getting stuck for a bit when paying the pips too fast. I couldn't get this myself but I lowered the max time until the popup autoexits from 1000 frames to 200, so in case it happens again, it should take you out a lot faster)
