Now we are moving on to the rest of the cast, being showcased for the first time, starting with the Fairy Team. Please note that all gameplay shown on the gifs are still a work in progress and are subject to change.

Pro: Quick movements and a great horizontal hitting power.
Con: Lackluster projectile and bomb.
No introduction is needed for here you have the strongest volleyball player, or so she would like you to believe. With Cirno's fast speed and pretty good hitting power, perhaps she does have a case. However, what she won't tell you is her vertical hitting power. While she has a very good horizontal (Orange, Red) when hitting the ball, her vertical (Blue, Green) is on the extreme side as it literally flies upward nearly 90 degrees. Good to pass to the partner above you but not much else. Her projectiles are also nothing special, but she makes up for it by having pretty good bombs and desperation. She's all about utilizing her strengths and completely ignoring her weaknesses.
Her projectiles consists of her shooting three large icicles with two moving at opposing angles. Hit the projectile button again and each will shatter into three smaller icicles that are slightly faster. While this may seem like a good gimmick to have, it may prove difficult to actually control. When you shoot out the icicles, you have to press the projectile button again to shatter them, meaning that your output of projectiles are delayed due to needing to press the projectile button twice to shoot another round. The smaller projectiles also do not spread out, following the same trajectory as the large icicle they spawned from. This makes it easy to predict where the bullets will head towards. And to add to this, her projectile meter is very small. You will fill it up quickly and this means you don't have much ammunition to work with. This is truly a difficult projectile to utilize, but it doesn't make it impossible to come up with clever ways to trap your opponent.

Her bomb freezes every one of the opponent's projectiles and after a second, they will explode into shards of smaller icicles to injure the opponent. But the trajectory of these smaller bullets are still predictable. The best use of her bomb is when the screen is full of the opponents bullets to create a wall of icicles coming towards them.

Cirno's desperation allows her to curse the ball with a freeze spell. When you activate her desperation, the ball will turn blue. When the next opponent touches the ball, the curse will transfer to them and they in turn will turn blue. In this state, they cannot use their projectiles, bombs, or desperation. They also can't collect items of any kind, including health and bombs. Their meters are literally frozen in place for a set amount of time.

Pro: Large projectile meter gives her more ammunition and access to her desperation whenever she has any meter.
Con: Seriously lacking in offense.
The timid Daiyousei, wanting show off her volleyball skills, or maybe she was forced to play when her pal insisted that she joined. She may not be the strongest like her friend, especially since she prioritizes on self-preservation, she can still provide good defense with her swift speed. She also has a very good vertical, but perhaps she has taken this to the extreme as even her horizontals tend to have a more vertical arc. And this may be her demise as her strongest hit on the ball will seriously be lacking. If you insists on having her pass the ball, make sure it's near the center of the field, otherwise you will risk having the ball flop towards the ground. But despite these shortcomings, Dai-chan does have her advantages.

Her projectile has her shooting 5 yellow orbs that will spread out the further they go. Because of her generously long meter, she can shoot out a barrage if you allow it to fill up. And to add to her arsenal, if you hold down the projectile button on the last shot, every one of her bullets on-screen will home-in on the closest opponent they detect.
Her bomb allows her to disappear and reappear right in front of the ball. When the ball is moving towards your field, hit the bomb button and she will immediately teleport to intercept it every time.

Her desperation is a special case. When activated it, she will become transparent and no projectile can hit her, but she can still interact with the ball. But not only can you activate and deactivate her desperation anytime you want, you do not have to wait till the meter is filled up. Unlike every other character, as long as she has any amount of desperation, she can use this power anytime she wishes. And while the meter itself is rather small, there is a generous amount where you will probably never be without this power. But do not be too careless as it also drains rather quickly.

Be sure to tune in next time for the next team highlight.
