Hello everyone,
It's been over a month since the first status update, so it was about time for a second one.
We've been busy with the release of our other game and the development of its next chapter, so we couldn't really focus on the Greyvale Rivalry until the beginning of February. But now that we've started, we thought it was time to let you know what's going on.
Before we get to the scene-by-scene progress updates, we wanted to let you know that we've decided to stop stating the percentage of scenes completed, as it's unrealistic for the scenes. For example, we mentioned that 130 renders would be about 70% of the scene, but it ended up being 50%. Now that we've cleared that up, let's talk about the scenes.
Second scene: We mentioned that the second scene was the biggest part of the first episode, but we're still working on it. We've done another 50 renders for it and it's still in development.
Third scene: We're finally done with this scene. It ended up being 270 renders along with a bunch of transition renders, but we're pretty happy with the results.
Fourth scene: This one is also completely written, but while we were making it we decided to change a few things, so we'll have to make some adjustments to the dialog. Other than that, it's going great. We've reached 130 renders on it and it's still going strong.
