85,000 Wishlists!
Wishlist and community growth have remained steady since our initial announcement in late November. Just over this past weekend, we skipped past the 80,000 milestone and hit 85,000!
Over 45,000 people signed up for the playtest, and we now have nearly 2,200 excited Discord members.
We thank each and every one of you for continuing to support ORMOD throughout its development, with much more to come!
First Playtest Concludes!
It has been an absolutely unreal weekend filled with lots of chaos, fun, and feedback!
It was awesome to see so many people with very high play times during the playtest! It was open for only 60 hours, yet we saw many people hitting above 30 hours played!! Wow.
This first playtest went very well! Aside from some server hiccups, which will be ironed out before the next playtest, the overall experience was positive for most participants. The bug reports and feedback we’ve received so far have provided solid guidance on what to improve.
We appreciate your patience while we kept this initial playtest small (only 350 people played!) so we could test the servers and gameplay before juggling the added chaos of inviting more participants.
We’re already working on many improvements, including the inventory and crafting systems, food and water mechanics (including adding water wells this week!), new content & a whole lot more!
If you participated in the playtest and haven’t provided feedback yet, please fill out the form that was emailed to you or submit feedback on Discord. It’s such a huge help!
What's Next!
We will be hosting another closed playtest very soon, and plan to invite many more people as we ramp up server and feature testing. We’ll announce the date and details soon!
For the next one, ALL members who have already signed up for playtest access via Discord will be invited, in addition to many Steam invites!
Ahead of the next playtest, we will host community polls to decide which ideas to implement and what to include.
I'm so excited to share all the new things coming to ORMOD. Stay tuned!
