Hi, dear Friends!🌱 Happy Earth Appreciation Festival to you all!!
Earth Appreciation Festival is a Steam Event organised by Slug Disco in honour of Earth Day 2026! It brings together Nature and Eco-dystopian games around one powerful goal: raising awareness about the challenges we all face, like rising temperatures, collapsing ecosystems, and the growing threat to the only home we’ve got. This year, you can also support the amazing charity Cool Earth throughout the festival.
As part of the celebration, we are hosting our second playtest from April 17th to April 24th, 2026!
Just click "Join Playtest" on our Steam page, and you will gain access to the game immediately!

Patch Notes
We had quite a bountiful harvest of bugs last time around, thanks to you all!! 🐛 🦋🐜🐞
We've been working hard to fix most of them, and here is the list of the most important changes:
A handful of bugfixes! For example, the main quest no longer disappears when you hug Rabbits, Habitat UI is being correctly coloured, and outline highlights on objects don’t flicker anymore!
You can now Save and Load your game! A highly awaited feature!
We updated the quest and dialogues. Play the game to learn more 👀
[Space] can now be used to advance the dialogues. Finally, you can BONK your way through conversations!
The Pause Menu now has an Options button. If you want to adjust the music volume or change the resolution, you can do it from inside your session.
You know what else is in the Pause menu? Unstuck button!! If you ever find yourself stuck in the trash again AND our custom-made system to respawn you at the last "stable" position doesn't work, then just click “Unstuck Player” in the Pause Menu to break free!
No more falling off the map! If that happens, you will reappear nearby, safe and sound.
Performance improvements. We’ve smoothed out some creaky joints under the hood so your computer gets to take a few deeper, happier breaths <3
