Light Attacks
This month's update - Light attacks. Each Shinobi class has Light and Heavy attacks. Light attacks are simple and swift, or with range, it's about movement and strafing. Heavy attacks are combo attacks and deal more damage, increasing the further you are into the combo.
🎮 Control Without Compromise
Root motion often hijacks control, sending you off cliffs or locking you into animations you didn’t mean. That ends here.
Light attacks give you total footwork control; move, strafe, curve, and always steer your facing.
Heavy attacks demand commitment. Pick your direction, aim your strike, and if you release the key, it stops -next month's focus.
Our motto: never take control away from the player. When we must, we hide it so it feels good. Combat stays weighty, but never clumsy.
🥷 Kage Shinobi - Shadow Ninja
(Sniper Rifle, Daggers | Aiko & Zephyr) Masters of evasion and silent strikes. Their new light attacks hit fast, vanish faster. Stealth is more than a choice, it’s their whole existence.
🏹 Yumi Tori - Bow Hunter
(Bow, Spear | Krucifear & Lila)
Precision incarnate. From smoke arrows to devastating spear thrusts, their light attack chains are deadly openings before the heavy finishers come in.
✨ Onmyō Shinobi - Mystic Ninja
(Magic Orbs, Scythe, Sword & Shield | Teella & Kria) Light attacks weave illusions and arcane jabs, the perfect rhythm for the chaos that follows. Jutsu is deception, and deception is survival.
🐺 Tetsu no Ōkami - Iron Wolf
(Hammer, Shotgun | Nyssa & Althea) Brute force embodied. Their light swings shake the ground, their shotgun blasts keep foes at bay. “Wind, Forest, Fire, Mountain”… every strike is an avalanche.
🐉 Sōryū Kenshi - Twin Dragon Swordsman
(Twin Blades, Dual Pistols | Prysyllia & Zora) Combat as a deadly dance. Their twin blades flow like dragons in flight, while pistols keep the tempo. Light attacks are the start of the performance. The encore is lethal.
🎥 September Showcase - Combat & Companions
This month’s video highlights the systems we’ve been building out:
Weapon Auras - Equipping melee with blazing trails and stat boosts.
Companion Customization - Glim geared with Poppies for healing support.
Class Combat:
🏹 Yumi Tori Spear - precision thrusts and reach.
✨ Onmyō Shinobi Sword & Shield - mystic defense and fluid offense.
☠️ Cyber Scythe - raw style and sweeping power.
🔫 Tetsu no Ōkami Cyber Shotgun - brutal close-range destruction.
Meanwhile, Glim’s more than just along for the ride:
“Tesubishi deploy!” - scatters traps into Concubines’ path.
“Behind you!” - calls danger before it hits.
“Healing!” - restores you mid-combat.
Combat is fast, weighty, and alive - with Glim literally at your side.
🔥 Weapon Auras
All melee weapons now support Weapon Auras - custom Niagara motion trails with stat bonuses. Think of them like gem slots, but faster, flashier, and deadlier.
📜 Character Sheet
Draven’s full character sheet is live: you can level up, assign build points, and see your stats clearly.
AI mobs (Concubines and others) now spend build points on spawn based on level.
🐾 Glim Upgrades
On land, Glim supports you: healing and tossing tetsubishi to keep enemies off you.
Underwater, she goes full Admiral Glim aboard the HMS Draven, turning into your main attacker with ShockRa mines. She’s your lifeline, above and below.
