Filtration v1.2.0 is here! It adds a new feature that should help you navigate the game's mazelike levels: Minimaps.

Minimaps are available from the beginning of the game, showing the basic geometry of whatever level you're in. The room you're currently in will be highlighted, and any rooms you haven't found yet will be shown in a dull gray.

You can configure the minimap from the accessibility options. There, you can turn it off if it's bothering you, or you can change it to use a top-down perspective!
This is the last planned content update in Filtration for the time being--from here on out, we're going to focus on our next game projects, including the Quaternion remake. That doesn't mean there will never be more Filtration--if there's enough interest, who knows? But for now, the game's in a pretty finished state!
Fixes:
Improved some heap allocation, hopefully resulting in faster load times, but we can't say for sure.
The ball no longer appears to hover in the air after getting sucked into a portal.
Fixed an issue where some pools would appear a strange blue color when on low graphics.
Improvements:
Minimaps have been added to the game (see above).
Oil shaders have been greatly improved for better visual clarity.
