A Quick Dev Update (and What I’m Working on Next)
Posted by: That One Guy Loki from That One Game Studio
Hey everyone!
Loki here and just wanted to say thanks again to everyone who’s played Monster Trucking. Seeing people enjoy throwing massive trucks around cities never really gets old, and I’m still incredibly grateful for the support.
I also wanted to share a quick update on what I’ve been working on lately.
My Next Project: Pocket Racer Shop Sim
Over the past several months, I’ve been heads-down on a new project called Pocket Racer Shop Sim.
This time around, the focus is on running a hobby shop, opening part packs, customizing tiny race cars, building tracks, and hosting race nights with friends. This is all wrapped in a chill shop sim experience.
There’s a big emphasis on:
deep car customization
racing setups that matter
and multiplayer where you can invite friends into your shop using their own saves

Built With Multiplayer in Mind
One of the biggest goals with this project was making something I could play with friends, not just alongside them.
You can play solo at your own pace, then host your save and invite friends over to:
race on your tracks
upgrade their cars at your workbench
open packs from your shop
and just hang out
It’s more of a social, friendly-race-night vibe than hardcore competition. The best part is they get to bring everything from their save when they join.
If That Sounds Like Your Thing…
Pocket Racer Shop Sim is currently in active development with closed playtests underway, and a public demo planned down the road.
If you’re curious:
You can check out the store page here and wishlist it to follow development.
(And as always, thanks for supporting my games. It genuinely means a lot.)
