Oaken Tower Patch: v0.1.3
Yep, the versioning changed to start with 0.
New items:
Treasure Chest (Epic): 0 damage | 7 cooldown | $55 | "When sold: Gain 2 goblets." //Dev comment: This is support for Twinfangs build (see twinfangs change below).
Noble Spear (Rare): 50 damage | 3.9s cooldown | $30 | No ability.
Cobalt Spear (Legendary): 35 damage | 3.9s cooldown | $50 | "Start of Combat: Permanently steal all attack from adjacent spears." //Dev comment: The 2 new spears give much more use to "Conjure Spear" (Epic) and creates a new cobalt spear build!
Balance changes:
🟢Eclipse (Epic): "Start of combat: Permanently gain +1 damage per other dark item." --> "Start of combat: Permanently gain +2 damage per other dark item."
🟢Spikey Mace (Rare): "Has +10 bonus damage per other mace." --> "Start of Combat: Gain +3 damage per mace." | 3s cooldown --> 3.2s cooldown
🟢Frostbound (Legendary): "Whenever another item crits, permanently gain +2 damage." --> "Whenever an item crits, permanently gain +2 damage."
🟡Trident (Rare): 30 damage --> 15 damage | 4.1 cooldown --> 2.2 cooldown //Dev comment: A shorter cooldown plays much better with the bleed synergy!
🟢Mace Study (Rare): 5.8s cooldown --> 7s cooldown | "On trigger: Give mace above +4 damage permanently." --> "On trigger: Give adjacent maces +2 damage permanently." | $30 --> $35
🟢Woodchopping (Epic): 10s cooldown --> 8s cooldown | "On trigger: Give all axes +2 damage permanently." --> "On trigger: Give all axes +3 damage permanently."
🟢Moon Knife (Rare): "When obtained: Also gain +12 XP." --> "When obtained: Also gain +16 XP."
🔴Crystal Flare (Rare): 5s cooldown --> 5.5s cooldown //Dev comment: See "crystal flare" under fixes.
🟡Lapis Lazuli (Epic): "On trigger: Permanently gain a level." --> "On trigger: Trigger moon item to the right of this." | 15.5s cooldown --> 3.4s cooldown | $60 --> $40 //Dev comment: This item has been totally reworked.
🔴Life Essence: Rare --> Epic | 5s cooldown --> 4.3s cooldown | $30 --> $35
🔴Dream Catcher: Rare --> Epic | 5.5s cooldown --> 5.2s cooldown | $45 --> $35
🔴Hook (Common): 2.8s cooldown --> 3.3s cooldown
🔴Brass Knife (Rare): 3.3s cooldown --> 3.5s cooldown
🟡Twinfangs (Legendary): "Permanently gain +8 damage every time you buy an item." --> "Permanently gain +8 damage every time you sell an item."
🔴Moonveil (Legendary): 6.9s cooldown --> 7.1s cooldown
🔴Wildfire (Common): 7 burn --> 6 burn
🔴Elven Shield (Common): 2.6s cooldown --> 3.4s cooldown
Fixes:
* Cursed Necklace (Legendary) now works on Chopper (Common).
* Hunters Tome (Rare): Now has a sound effect when triggering.
* Crystal Flare (Rare): Only gave +1 to burn items even though it stated +2. This fix is essentially a pretty big buff, which is why the cooldown had to be increased by 0.5s.
* Fixed the minimum rating to 500.
Other:
* Now that many players have been playing Oaken Tower, the PvP database of builds has been increased. It now holds 30 different player builds per day.
* The game now asks if you are sure you want to *end your run* when clicking the menu button from the pause screen.
