In this episode, we'll be covering one of the most exciting aspects of Cubic Odyssey: weapons. What better way to go on a dangerous adventure than with an arsenal worthy of your hero?
Melee Power
If you prefer to act stealthily, suddenly, and up close, we've got a whole bunch of melee weapons in store. From the humble but effective shock baton, which can paralyze an enemy with a single touch, to light sabers of all colors and shades that can turn your enemy into smoking pixelated ash. Yes, getting up close and personal can be difficult, especially when energy projectiles are whistling overhead, but if you can pull it off, the result will be devastating.
Shoot accurately, shoot powerfully
Do you like to keep your distance? Then you'll love our ranged arsenal. At your disposal are pistols, automatic rifles, carbines, shotguns, machine guns and sniper rifles. Each barrel has its own characteristics: from accuracy and rate of fire to range and even the trajectory of energy projectiles. Don't forget about overheating - all our weapons use energy, and firing for too long can result in an annoying cool-down period during combat.
But what makes our weapons truly unique are the modifiers, that not only improve the weaponry itself, but also change your play style.
Explosive arguments
When there are too many enemies and your ammo is running out, it's time to get out the grenades. In Cubic Odyssey, they are not only lethal, but also spectacular: they destroy the environment, create holes in shelters and frighten even the bravest opponents. Do you see a group of pirates hiding behind the wall? Throw a grenade — and the wall will disappear, as well as the pirates themselves.
And if you want to throw exploding gifts from afar — arm yourself with a grenade launcher. Fast, effective, and most importantly — the enemy won’t even have time to work out what happened. By the way, if you have accumulated a lot of resources for creating grenades, you can use them to mine ore — isn’t that a treat?
Light versus darkness
Grenades for fighting the red darkness occupy a special place in the arsenal. These devices clear infected cubes over large areas, allowing players to safely move and restore the territory. Visually and in terms of gameplay, this is literally an act of purification! Our arsenal continues to expand, and we are not going to stop. We want every player in Cubic Odyssey to find a weapon that exactly matches their style, mood, and desire to create chaos.
See you in the next diary — and don’t forget to load your favorite gun!
