Hello everyone, Rpg Penguin here.
Here to announce that there's been a lot going on these past months that pertain to the future of Tower Of Penguinaria! So far we have made huge strides in removing all of the AI art placeholders. But just changing the graphics isn't enough for us at Penguins Incorporated (Our unofficial company name), so I have been hard at work, working on more content for you all to enjoy and replacing all the old background and dungeon art! As Blue has been setting up the assets for a brand new location where one may partake in everyone's favorite roguelike pastime... Gambling!
Addressing Responses

To my surprise there has been a lot of in depth reviews coming in for The Tower Of Penguinaria So here are a few I want to talk about.
To start reviewer Coke_Can pointed out something crucial that I have been focusing my efforts on when it comes to dungeon design. Coke_Can said, "Adding a transition in the background pixel art between each area, it felt like I was walking through walls and it is really unclear where the edge of each floor is." And to that I have designed the dungeon with that clarity in mind. While it is no transition I have kept a consistent room background in this next update so that the rooms have that sense of flow that was so sorely missing before.

Next, a trend that is consistent through reviews "A very fun and addicting Rougelike that is a little confusing at first but you'll quickly catch on and have a great time..." (CaiusNotPlaying). It's clear to me that we need to make the tutorial clearer and get people past that initial hunch of learning a new game. It is my hope that these new assets and a slightly better tutorial will help more people enjoy the game.
As for the discord server people have been posting tons of really cool ideas, and I have made efforts to implement them. Especially ones that streamline gameplay and avoid unwanted interactions. One issue that was caught in the discord by PaisleyElf, was that the projectile deflection and escape morb buttons were the same. In this way when the eye trap fired if you were in a room with the morb you would accidently leave. This has also been amended in this upcoming update.

New Content
The primary thing here is a new dungeon room known as the plentiful grove. This room has 2 states; Plentiful and Barren. If you ever find yourself low on hp or mana, and happen to find this grove you can replenish all expended mana and hp! It's always nice to have a resting room in roguelikes so why not add one here?

There is also a new song that plays when you head to a specific location in the overworld...
Oh I also added a menu.
Anynoot here are some sneak peak images on the new update, let me know what you think, and have a great day and or night!
