We've been very busy the past few months! We optimized the code to ensure that Single Player and Multiplayer mode run super smooth (talking triple digit fps). The game has officially entered the Play Test phase for the Demo. Friends and I will be playing together through Steam to find (and squash) those pesky bugs before we officially release the demo to the wider world.
New Quests
The main storyline quest was added - Repair your Spaceship! You'll need to search through the various biomes to locate the Spaceship Pieces which have been scattered across the planet. Complete a Puzzle, Search through a Maze, or Fight your way to obtaining these valuable materials.
New Alien Plantlife
We've added 15 Alien plants! All with unique animations and sound effects. By discovering these plants in the World Map you can destroy them to create Seeds. Till the land, sow the seeds, then water them and watch them grow to harvest new materials and consumeables (should you really be eating these?).
First Spliced Earth-Alien Plant
You've found a way to make more sustainable plants. These plants take less time to grow, are safer and offer greater benefits when consumed, and are more hearty in the Alien atmosphere.
New Biomes
We've polished up two biomes: The Crash Zone
The "Jungle"
Wishlist XenoFields: Frontier to stay up to date on the demo release!
Happy Holidays and lots of love,
Karl
