Update 1.0.1 – Improvements and balancing for a more epic experience!
Hello, players!
We are excited to present the latest update to DevTycoon. This release brings visual improvements, gameplay tweaks , bug fixes, and balance changes that have been highly requested by our community.
✨ Visual Improvements
- New interface to view company details : Now you can select any company from the “ Companies ” menu and check company details such as products, software, money in the bank, company value, as well as specific details for each software and website.
🎮 Gameplay Changes
- Contract Competition Review : This mechanic has now been balanced so that the user has a better chance of winning contracts, although it is still affected by the reputation of the user's company and the client.
- New real competition mechanics : Now companies will work at the same time as the player to develop new software, improve their software and sell their products.
- Basic Needs Changes : Workers will now work harder and will not need to meet their needs as often as going to the bathroom or eating something, however, this is still affected by the settings selected when creating the game.
- Software sales: Now when selling software, it will have a tendency to decrease sales over the months, reflecting real-life behavior. Sales will progressively decrease depending on factors such as the creativity and interest of the software.
⚔️ Game Balance
- Contracts :
- They have been balanced so that the probability is not so low.
- NPC Needs :
- Now they won't need to go as often to cover their basic needs like going to the bathroom or eating.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Fixed : A bug when creating a new character did not correctly display the available skill points.
- Fixed : A bug that did not display the texts of some settings correctly when creating a new game.
- Fixed : Bug that prevented new software developments from being monetized correctly.
- Fixed : Issue with calendar when moving to the next month that causes skipping several consecutive years.
- Fixed : Bug that caused the speed to remain accelerated when returning to the main menu.
💡General Improvements
- Significant optimizations have been made to increase performance on low- and mid-range PCs.
